Music of the. . . books?

Another semester under my belt...another short Christmas season...bah humbug...I miss the Christmas season when you wake up on the day after Thanksgiving and it just feels like Christmas...It's rather on the difficult side to be all Christmassy when your finals week looked something like:

Week before finals: 2 papers and something else due - can't remember what

Week of finals: about 20 hours in between each final to study, except for Wednesday - then I only had 20 hours for two finals back to back. Oh, and then there were 3 take home exams: one essay for Western Civ and two for Latin (plus an in-class exam for those as well).

But I must say - God is Good...Always.  Besides, it's in the Bitter-Sweet times of life when God teaches you a lot.

And need I say - I'm looking forward to next semester...

So...

I'm sitting on the floor in the main building of my college campus waiting to register for fall classes.  Seeing as the student body is only around 300, the college has not created a online registration system - however, according to the rumors, they plan to do that next year.  But now I have to pay the punishment that over-eager fellow freshmen created.  Yes, some of my fellow classmen were waiting outside the registration door around 5:30 am and the door did not open until 8:30 am.  The hall was filled with people - waiting. People skipped classes - my 8 am class had about 1/3 to 1/4 of the students attending, and the professor for it is the academic dean.  I'm a little disgusted with my fellow students for creating this mess, but an extremely small part of me doesn't blame them. The upper classmen are shocked at this - such a thing has never happened before.  And the line is still long.  But I'm closer, maybe 8 people close??  So, about 7 to 8 min per person times 8-ish equals 64 min.  Dang.  One whole hour and I'm almost out of batteries.  Snap.

In other news, most of my grades are to be decided in the next three weeks for most of my classes.  I have a paper due this week, plus Latin.  Next week I have a couple papers due, plus Latin and a speech.  The week after I have 3 papers due, plus a project for history.  And after that is finals.  Oh, joy.  Of course, you have to add all the things I need to figure out for summer; like getting my job set up, figuring out some other summer activities.  Sometimes I wonder why I have so much going on - but GOD IS GOOD.  And I will continue to praise Him, no matter what.  Yet, I do miss the sweet, carefree days of childhood...

Well, enough of my life, I guess I'll work on Latin - that should be a semester to itself.

So...

I finally did it...

I got a Facebook...

I can't decide if that's good or bad...

We'll see what happens...

Ok...

Later.
